Amazing PHC and amazing landscape
These days I seem to be gone for a few weeks at a time, then I come back and try to catch up on whatever I can. It's always a treat to come to your gallery, because of the wonderful quality and commitment of your images. I see them all, regardless; but commenting lets me sit with them and "live" in them for a while.
This site is photo-worthy. But your values---the deep inward reds and rust tones---are gorgeous. The formation near the center is darker than the one on the left, and the color differences are beautiful. Plus this has your usual exquisite detail, mixed with gentleness. That is, you get real detail, but somehow you capture softness as well. It doesn't shout at us...which is why I've compared your images to film...A beautiful capture of this 'wall'. This whole series is beautiful.
