Description
An update, lol :) Fixed the figure at the back left to a non billboard one and used a different filter from the NIK collection. Thre previous filter desaturated the image a bit and sharpened the bloom too much. Volumetric lighting did not work beacause of the candle/fire planes.

Impressive, most impressive, fabulous awesome render. Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!
This is a excellent render! The lighting in this scene is fantastic and so well done! :-)
This is gorgeous. I would have put it in faves for the candles alone!
Brilliant scene...quality shadow and light work...fantastic ambience....top notch HQ end result...!!
The inn is such a fantastic setting and this is amazing with all the characters.
Another beautiful composition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool image, the lighting is spot on for this type of room! If he takes requests, I'll ask if he knows The Wellerman sea shanty song, lol... 🐉

Yeah, Rhol... the sea shanty was very good. I have done an animation with some Icelandic folks music and song.. I'll be posting when the promotion for the book it's an intro to gets underway.
Stunning image, great light and superb fire effect !!! 👍🙋♂️

I love the scene, especially the interaction and engagement with the minstrel.
The awesome lighting and detail in this scene is EXCELLENT in every way. You are the quality type artist that I aspire to be. You encourage me to try for more. That's another way to say that when I see your art, I consider my own work to be doodles.
Sorry for not commenting before, Dagg :) Just looking back. Thanks for the kind compliment! And pish-posh! Yuor stylie is great and everyone has a certain radiance to add with their images :D
Even better... Punching up the saturation was a good idea, this version positively sings!
