I think I’m way over-thinking this. I keep looking for a who-done-it riddle or something - they all have argyle socks. So, who's not the Poser. It was Colonel Mustard in the study with a candlestick; he was wearing Cashmere socks. You can always tell the nature of a man by his socks. I wear socks by Amazon because I'm too lazy to get up and go to Walmart - bring me my socks!

He reminds me of Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactica, he had pants like that, and I guess argyle socks under the boots. So nicely done.
