outstanding composition and wet faes/render
Terrific, Barb. You have a way with human figures (I don't know if they're "models" as I don't know anything about the medium). The right-most young woman looks bored and impatient, love her bent-under legs and crossed arms (and a stare that could kill). The middle spirit seems more joyful w/ another very rich posture, with angled limbs and a happy stare. And the standing spirit has a great bored/leaning posture---love how she leans into the mushroom, with her left leg turned under and resting, and her hip flown out. A "yada yada yada---I'm bored!" posture. Teen spirits who look like they're thinking, "like, what-ever..." Great postures, Barb, really expressive. All while they wait under mushrooms for the rain to end. Fine dark light too, with some really sweet touches---the little creek (I assume that's a creek), the burst of light or water from the top, the background trees and flowers and the rain, not to mention a doll or a child spirit who looks like she dropped in out of a native african or central american ceremony, and has great shoes and outfit incl that hat. (Great little addition!) Delightful.
