Description

Writing On The Wall - V I wanted some more drama and less "soft", so this is what I came up with.

Wonderful series! I always wondered how to achieve this effect, to project an image in a light source to a prop or a body, but haven‘t had the time yet to experiment You did a great job here!

Here is how it is done in DAZ3D...

Add a spot light to your scene.
Add a square plane primitive to your scene.
Position that plane so it is parallel to the front lens of the spotlight. The spot from the spot light should be dead center on the plane.
Under surfaces tor the plane, click on the [v] for the Cutout Opacity and then select a black & white image of the pattern you want to project. Black allows light to shine through, white creates a shadow.
Parent the plane to the spot light so when you move the spot light, the plane goes with it.

Ta-da. That's all there is to it.
