It was a very fine day indeed. I hope we can all find common ground and work to make this a better country for all. This is a day that has always held hope for some, not so much hope for others. Nevertheless we have issues that we desperately to be fixed. Take COVID-19, there should be common ground on getting this behind us. While there may be disagreement on particular implementations, I hope we can all agree that looking out for each other is the way forward.

The day turned out to be more peaceful than I imagined! Let's hope moving forward we can find a way to unite the rest of America! I know that's a tall order when half of the USA is so divided! Your girls are true patriots and help bring pride to the USA. Excellent and we'll done! :-)

One of the reasons I'm sad that I've been off of RR so much, is that I haven't commented on so many of your images. I've seen them all---haven't missed one---and taken in all your emotion, and of course your constant artistry and creativity and humor and all the love and everything else you bring here all the time. I just haven't had the energy to do much, the last few months. (A couple other illnesses in my life, and with covid coming back, I've been told to take it easy, as I was very, very vulnerable due to my physically run-down state. Some doctors said, "get some rest or else...") I hope to return to comments soon.

I'm really sorry it's been so hard for you. I understand why, you've had a helluva year without external events. But you've managed to post a lot of stuff of your usual consummate quality regardless. Incl your political pieces (which I've appreciated greatly) and incl this. Like Mike, I love the red white and blue theme here; and seeing your lineup of fighters saluting in front of the still-standing capitol is grand. As well as your usual attention to outfit, hue, sheen, light, etc. (Love those tinted glasses!) I too was moved to tears by inaug. day: And how the hell did we get through 4 years of DT??? How did we do it??? Was it a bad dream? Did it really happen? I greatly appreciated your pieces on all that, incl the "pieta" poses in your piece after the capitol riot, almost a religious piece in gesture. Loved your TNA work too---I promise I'll comment, and the piece after this (on ebots---jesus---I go away for a few months, the whole place falls apart! What the...like a revolution was staged the week after I left, like what the hell did I miss??? I know it's got zilch to do with me, but when you leave, then peek back later on, and several of your images have been taken down---whoosh!---and ebots went 'with the wind', you wonder, what in the world happened here??? ((On top of that, everything I posted, the last month, was removed, not because of content, but just programming problems.)) It was like going back home, and someone razed the whole neighborhood. "Uh---guys??? what the hell HAPPENED??? I was only gone a few hours!!!")
