When thinking about what to add to the challenge of Character Building, at Daz (December 2020), my husband brought up the fact that volunteering at our local Animal Shelter is sure building my character. I immediately thought of the foster kittens I bottle fed because a suitable mama was not available. I.. became mama. :) Eenie, Meenie, Miney and Mo (all boys) were dumped on the doorstep of the FAPL. I happily volunteered to take them in til they were bigger. I bottle fed the 4 kittens 4 times a day for 2 weeks. They were all so sick and Eenie and Miney only lived a month. It took everything in me not to return Meenie and Mo. But they were strong and kept gaining weight. After 3 months of having them in our care we decided to adopt both of them! Their brothers are buried in our back yard so I just couldn't give them back! I have learned a lot from those tiny kittens. They never gave up on me and I am happy to say they are living the great life right now in our home! (ps... If you'd like to know more of my adventures at the FAPL... please check my FB page)
