While He's golfing near his luxury residence (four days in a row), Americans are in food lines, 330,000+ have died of Covid, and domestic terrorists are suicide bombing and planning to kidnap governors (in his name). His golfing trips have cost taxpayers over $142,000,000 (Yes, that's million) so far. That total includes $59,000,000 worth of trips to Mar-a-Largo on Air Force One, along with other costs such as Coast Guard security and secret service agents.
Pence is vacationing now at a ski lodge in Vail, Colorado. (not sure if the fly went along). Part of the "Stimulus bill" Trump finally signed yesterday, includes an expense paid three-martini lunch for congress members. Some of us normal people will receive a one time $600 check.
***In 2016, among his other dubious campaign promises, was the claim that he would not have time for golf....at all. "I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off", he said in February 2016.

This came out really well, Linda. Excellent light and I love the setting and how you've used the profiles of the two people...Though I think you could have made him fatter ;) Remember how he complained about Obama playing golf? Of course, like everything else he's involved with, he cheats at golf. I can't wait for this personification of The Seven Deadly Sins to just go away--unlikely, he's a media hound and needs to carry out his grifting on all those fools who still support him. Apparently the residents of Palm Beach want him gone too...Looking forward to what Tish James has in store for him :) Perhaps some court scenes in your 3D future?

But give the devil his due. $2000 is more than $600, although I cannot now and never will understand how the threshold could be an annual salary of $75,000 or less. I would have said that any employed American earning more than $45,000 a year (but allowing for the unemployed and those with large families and a single breadwinner), wouldn't need a subsidy.
But can we agree that in four remarkably vacant years the bozo had one good idea? As for golfing, well, what else do you expect an American president with so much spare time to do? Let's wait for his memoirs.

Counting down the days... Now we have Republican Senate / House Members who are very concerned that DJT didn't get a fair shake in (1) The Numerous multi state recounts (2) The State's Certification's Process (3) The Multi-Level Court Cases tossed out (where his crack legal team never really even alleged voter fraud) (3) The attempt by the Great State of Texas to invalidate 4 other states election laws. So what could be more fair than Republican Senate and House members demanding that V.P. Mike Pence invalidate the election results in the Senate where they have control. Oh BTW, VP Pence only role in this process has been, by definition, a ceremonial role. So much for the Constitution and States Rights. Bow and Slobber at the Alter of the Party Machine, Biochs.
