My little garage of 2CV's. From left to right: Lucian Lillipe's freebie Bumblebee Charleston 2CV6, then 3DClassics' 2CV4, followed by Pamawo's three, the van, 2CV4 and Sahara. All from Renderosity. Fantastic.

Thanks for your kind comments. One day I hope to kitbash a double ended Pompiers car from one of the 2CV4's. That'll be fun.
My good friend from the teenage years had a Renault 4CV. It was so cute, small, and slow, but you had to like it. The engine looked like something from a sewing machine, only about 1/2 liter (about 30 cu. in.), but it still catches my eye, even today. Rode in it many times. :o)
The Renault 4 was indeed a similar vehicle, but quite a bit more refined. When at school I had a very tall and powerfully built art teacher who drove a Renault 4. When he got in it, it always listed 4" down on the driver's side. It was great fun, but I always preferred the 2CV. I've owned four 2CV's, one of which I still have.
