first of all, I hope comments are showing up somewhere (the activity feed?) because so much has changed here since I left---no ebots, even the gallery pages are missing images. I thought you'd taken a hiatus till I looked in your gallery last week and saw you'd posted all KINDS of stuff. Then I realized, ebots haven't worked in weeks! Well I can only comment on a few images today, but I've seen everything you've posted, and as always I've loved them all. This is a terrific homage to the traditional 40s and 50s pinup, I love how your model is lounging in a heel (with a pink interior, to set off her lighter pinks); and she's upside down in it; and surrounded by big bulbous pearls. This is a terrific takeoff on pearl-laden pinups...surrounded by velvety blacks and open space. It's very modern in that way, very bold. You have a couple of pearls rolling to the side--fine touch---and the inner heel is a slab of dark purple, a real abstract accent. This is the kind of concept I saw a lot from masters of avant garde commercial imagery (some jewelry manufacturers would pay a fortune for images like this, in magazines). And the simple title---head over heels---is perfect. Terrific. I'll do one more, but know that I've seen everything in your gallery, and I'll get to more I hope soon. Your mix of imagination with play, sensuality, humor, mystery and artistic rigor is magical. Love this piece.
