BACK IN THE DAY- - I BOUGHT IT FOR 10 DOLLARS. NEEDED A TRANSMISSION
PAINT WAS FADED DULL. THE 6 CYLINDER WAS STRONG. I MADE AN EXAUST SYSTEM UP OF FLEX PIPE AND A GLASSPACK
I DROVE IT EVERYWHERE. AFTER 2 YEARS, I PAINTED A NUMBER ON IT AND RACED IT IN HOBBY STOCK CLASS, LOCALLY. BEST 10 DOLLARS I EVER SPENT

my first car was a 57 Chevy also. I paid $35 for it. it got 35 miles to a quart of oil(leaks)! I had it up above 100mph with almost bald tires on the way back to college
