An awesome scene, just love it!
Striking but utterly confusing. This is why.. In the presence of layers of reflections the human vision system automatically sorts them by depth so you only 'see' the closest features and you hardly notice the more distant ones. But when you take a still picture or make a render the layers all collapse into a jumble with little discernible shape. Hence photorealism should not be confused by actual realism which is what the eye comprehends.
