Description
Portrait of Manuela Menci, who died suddenly on September 23rd commissioned to me by her husband, my dear friend of very long standing, the well known Italian historician of science fiction cinema Giovanni Mongini.
Strangely enough I had the intention to realize it to remember her even more, even if Giovanni had not asked me to.
Manuela was a strong, intelligent and determined woman (like a true Tuscan) but at the same time of an incomparable sensitivity, sweetness, touch and understanding.
That's how I imagined her...
