Description
If you've seen "The City of Vaage", posted here earlier [where Kidon arrives as a young buck...this is the monastery where he resides as an old man. It is here that he begins his reminiscing. I've got a hundred modifications that I'd love to do to this, but it will only be seen briefly in an establishing shot. A fly-by down the river...on a dark and stormy night. So the next step is to port it over the Vue, hang it off the wall of the canyon and see what I've got. More detailed inner views will follow.

nice images kelley. you turn them out at a very respectable pace. So, it sounds like this is part of an animation, right? have you begun animating, and if so do you have any clips we can see? I'd love to know more about the project. If you have time/interest, please share a little more with us.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's an animation, and no, there are no clips as yet. I am in the process of building the sets. The easiest way to bring you up to speed on the story would be to point you to my website; www.robertgkelley.com>comics>conijca. That will tell you just about everything that I know at this point. I know Conijca and Kidon are heading into trouble, but I don't exactly know what it is. As for turning these out at a respectable pace: I am retired from the commercial art world and now work at a golf course as part of a grounds crew. Winter is dead time. So I live frugally through the season in anticipation of winter when I can hunker down in front of a warm, glowing CRT and work all night, or all day, as it pleases me. This winter's goal: design a character from the ground up, and make it walk and talk. Kidon is nearly done. Now that the town and monastery are finished, you'll be seeing him here pretty soon. He'll be my 'bones' experiment.
