Life Knows No Bounds
Nion and her Directorate mech custodian. Epsilon G, are inseparable. Entrusted with the care, protection, and transportation of the stasis tube within which Nion is contained, Epsilon G is her constant companion. When the Directorate scientists and data technicians finish their diurnal work cycle and leave the lab where Nion is kept, Epsilon G is there, a tireless guardian watching over Nion as she floats in metasleep. While her body is held within the circulating bright blue plasma of the stasis tube, her AI-imbued mind roams the cosmos searching for an answer to the question all sentient beings ponder: what is life? Theirs is a singular, shared existence ruled by one directive: obey.
