Testing a tooney character I bought and ended up somewhere between Miranda and Elsa.

She looks very grumpy and I will offer her a honey scone in hopes of seeing her smile.
Hmmmmm. we have an idiom that involves smearing honey around somebody's mouth to get a positive response (the English seem to be using butter for that purpose = to butter somebody up). So yes, makes sense.
