Thank you for the comment and you are welcome to the review I do think the transporter is amazing. I don't think the material on my floor is necessarily better, just different, it really depends on the setting you are using the Transporter in. It is quite rare for me to render a prop of any sort with the default materials not because there is anything wrong with the default materials, I just love playing. In the series of renders that I have done using the Transporter I used the default materials throughout, I think it was due to the fact I was so blown away with the Transporter I never got as far as the materials. It was only when someone commented about the wood floor in my first version of this render that I took note and once I had my attention drawn to it I could not 'un-see' it.

Good title and a meaningful study, I remember a dark story.. very old one! No windows.. like a station I think, not a vehicle.. but such as large cockpit, also many monitors, different displays in each, interesting but there is another room connected there and a dark content within! Very dark and small on the head.. just like that with one hand! but a little horror, good work on this..
