Even before I read your description, this said Pre-Raphaelite to me; strongly reminiscent of Waterhouse in fact, with the brocaded fabrics and flowers... Lovely!

a fabulous richness of colour and texture and think she would make an even better Pre-Raf in close up with that excellent hair and distant look. The tendency for Pre-Rafs to go for Grecian features (particularly Waterhouse) and noses kind of marks them out style wise, here you set a more modern, but still romantic look, very nicely done
When I looked at this image, it was like if I was looking at a second half of the nineteenth century painting! Superb image!
