Who was this Miranda
To whom my poems are addressed?
You may well ask.
Maybe she was a real person
Or perhaps a dream figure?
Ah me, shall I then worry?
Deep, in my dreams, of which there have been many,
There is one constant - my Miranda -
Whose name I know, whose face I cannot see.
Somewhere, deep inside me, there is someone I know and love;
Who loves me.
But one whom I may never meet in this life.
Can one be reincarnated? No idea.
But if … and when …
Maybe some day, my Miranda,
We shall meet again.
