Description
I hope my dates are right: Today is Rod and Jo's anniversary! And next year is their 50th---which makes today's huge minus one!
(best seen full---)
I'm not '100%' right now, so I hope I achieved my intention, here: I wanted to convey tranquil, peaceful summer days, with that gentle basking light that only summer brings...why? Because Rod and Jo have had their share of everything else (the gods are having a great time messing with them!), so I wanted to wish the opposite for them both.
Also, this is kind of 'nothing', small, so if you can see it full-size, my intentions will be clearer.
Happy Anniversary to you and Jo, Rod! I really hope things turn around, and you two finally have the peace and joy you've earned and deserve. I wish you luck with a new home, and I hope the process of getting there is smooth as a lazy summer day. (May it happen!) You're a jewel, and I hope it all comes back to you two with nothing but joy (and no hot rods, blaring music, excavations of the pharaohs in your back yard, overactive colliders, and floods, floods and floods...begone, evil ones! begone!) Happy Anniversary to both of you, friend, and many, many more!!! m

What a lovely dedi to Rod and Jo on their 49th anniversary...I like the cheery palette and how you've laid out the images. My favorite is the duckie :)

This is sooooo wonderful, Mark! I love the cheerful and uplifting greens and yellows, highlighted by the spots of blue - and the reds and oranges of the sun peeking through the tree. I can see the message of hopefulness in the sun breaking through the tree, to say, "Good times are still coming..." This brings a smile in a big way, buddy - THANK YOU so much!
Yep - one more year to the Big Golden! I can't believe it's been almost a half-century! And.... Our favorite restaurant (J. Gilbert's) is actually open (with all the proper restrictions, of course), so we're going there tonight. We've had reservations there for a year - and it's been soooooo long since we've been able to actually go have a nice meal out. Seems like it's been years.
Anyway, thanks again so much, Mark! You made our day! 😁😄💖

A wonderful anniversary dedication. The images are all so warm and friendly. The colors and water definitely speak of summer when living is easier. The sun shines happily in all of them. May the sun always shine on Rod and Jo... Happy Anniversary to them!

An image that sort of defies my sense of 'what am i trying to logistically assemble now' vis-a-vis the above image in this cool dedication to Rod and Jo, Mark. Much luck in the days, weeks, months and years to come for both on this mortal coil, as Shakespeare might put it.
