Description

During the 1930s to 1950s, modern scientists will re-explore the concept in an attempt to reconcile the Expansion of the Universe observed by Edwin Hubble and predicted by Alexander Friedmann using Einstein's general relativity equations and starting from the notion of an eternally old universe. Some current cosmological models assume that 13.7 billion years ago the entire mass of the universe was compressed into a gravitational singularity, called the (cosmic egg), which extended to its current state through the Big Bang .
