Description
This is an illustration for my e-book I'm about to publish. It goes with a verse:
Night in the city
Through the silent avenues and up the dusty lanes
Clamber on the windowsills, peer through grimy panes
Watching passing dust motes that gambol in the light
Revealing hidden alleyways that slumber in the night
Up a crumbling stairway leading to the brooding crags
That gather up blown paper and a host of plastic bags
Silently exploring through the wind-swept corridors
Leaving little footprints made by softly treading paws
Dust is gently rising, stirred by whispers passing by
And sparkles in the sudden light cast by an emerald eye
There is no-one to see him but an overflying owl
For darkness rules the city and the cat is on the prowl

Very nice image - the cat with the moon is very striking.
Life is this.. I think must be said surprise to the cat, is it possible?
Not sure I understand you Kharnes but thanks for your comment. The poetry is based on watching my own cats prowl about in the twilight and, when I lived in London, there were several semi feral cats who used to patrol regularly so watching them helped create the verse. regards Xleper
