That red band is terragen, but there was missing something so I started postprocessing.
I didn't get what I wanted so I kept on bungling until it end up in this messy shit... ;-]

Yes, a bit wierd looking sky I must admit, seeing the image from top reminded me of some huge waves and I thought that I was suddenly in the wrong gallery ;-) The light and the reflections are very cool. An great tryout!

If you can play with the concavity of the red band you can do sunsets (as I understand the theory) as they would be distorted by the godawful atmosphere of Venus at or near the surface. I believe there are some color photos of rock taken by one or more of the surface landers. PleasePleasePlease make us a sunset on Venus!!! Tell us how you did it!!!
