Now that I'm a week late.....
This is for both of my dear friends, Barb (bakapo) and Mark (anahata.c). Barb's birthday was the 1st, so again, a very belated Happy Birthday, my friend!
Mark wrote a wonderful two-part story for her birthday (if you missed it, you can see it here: Mark's Birthday Dedication
The story was so well written, inspiring, and uplifting, I just had to create an image for it. I chose Ar to star in this role, as she is so lithe, limber, and graceful, and dancing is one of her passions (when she's not kicking bad-guy behinds).
I used a night image from Unsplash for the background. I just about went blind painting in all the little silhouettes in the windows of the nearest building, but it was fun!

I've yet to read Mark's story, but I love how you put your spin on it. Especially all those people in the buildings! Your patience is unrivaled when it comes to putting in details like that.
And Ar exudes bliss and grace with her dancing! She's probably dancing to a Latin tune, but in my head its "Private Dancer" by Tina Turner. Kudos!

Glad you got the standby machine up and running.. I was kind of afraid that might be the case with the motherboard.. I've seen - and had - that happen after a power surge.. It's a bummer, but the data on your C:drive is most likely OK..
