She's a pirate.
Normally I play fairly celibate characters, and often act as the moral center of my RPG group. This time, I'm going to try for something a little different. I aim to misbehave. Since I've finally broken down the self-imposed barrier against playing female characters in Tabletop RPGs, I'm exploring new ideas that I had been avoiding. The group sees me as a stabilizing influence, which I appreciate.
But if I'm stuck at home, unable to give hugs and fist bumps and enjoy the company of real people, I might as well try out some different approaches to playing. I know I don't have it in me to be *mean.* But hey, that doesn't mean I always have to play a character that that is afraid to let their hair down.
Her companion is the 'bot Z1G1, or "Ziggy." Ziggy takes care of the more unsavory tasks, as Viernoc doesn't really care for violence. She's more interested in obtaining the prize, which is to say, booty. And to obtain that prize she needs lots of pretty baubles to impress the ladies of the galaxy.
Not sure quite how this game is going to work out, but I was told lots of RP, so I decided to test my bravery and play a character that's a little more out there. As a writer, I tend to write a lot of lesbian protagonists, now I'm going to step into the shoes of a lesbian character that is a bit more flamboyant then any I've ever played before.
But, despite her reputation, Viernoc is a gentle-being at heart. (ie, not abusive, controlling, insertothertoxicbehaviorhere)

Yeah. The campaign, sadly, barely got under way before my group imploded. However, I've done a little short fiction for the character, and I think I'll do more. She was WAY too much fun to not invest more time into her story.
