I spent a bit of my pocket money on 1st of May and came up with this.. I have had my eye on David Brinnen & Forbidden Whispers' 'Northern Terrace Street' for a while. It is so similar to the towns in North Kent, large industrial conurbations that grew up at the end of the Victorian period. Feels rather like home. In fact these houses are bigger and more up-market than my first house, they actually have a bay window and a pedestrian path more than 2ft (60cm) wide before the kerb. Luxury! In these streets everyone usually knows everyone else's business, which can feel nice, but if you need to get on, you do sometimes need to get on regardless of whether your neighbour was wanting a chat. Even worse, when you encounter the embarrassment of a near neighbour telling off next-door's 15yo daughter for both smoking and abandoning their bicycle across any available doorway.
