First, the original is a fine pov--you captured a real 'knot', a ganglia with thick arms coming out of it. It's like an octopus having a bad morning stretch. Fine tree shooting. Then the variation is one of your swimming, pulsing, line-infestations, where everything has been turned into squiggling flames and rivers. It's as beautiful as the original, and it brings a lot more light to it, too. You even accentuated the purple (top right), which looks like silk here. Covid has given you inspiration to dive into your 'stash' and transform it into wild, fun, artistic and insightful newcomers. This is a lovely variation, Harry.

Both of these are wonderful, Harry! I really love how you did the second image - it has such wonderful flow!

Harry, thank you and I will comment on variation 2 soon. I've been staring and grinning at these for two days and I still haven't figured out how to tell you how much I love them. So I'm going to stare and grin some more.
