I thought I'd start challenging myself to make art using the weekly freebies from the Daz store, and took it a step further by limiting myself to only using base download assets. In the future, I think I shall incorporate freebies from renderosity, but I decided to keep it simple for this first trial run. I think it turned out alright, other then the red. I used the default "Red Velvet" iray shader, but it's got no depth. :( Still, I didn't break the rules of my personal challenge, so I'm happy overall. I might poke around later and put together some "essentials" from the renderosity freebie store. Stuff that anyone can get that serves a lot of utility. In the future, I might even delve into creating your own textures, but I will try to keep from getting too ambitious. The important thing is, I think this piece could spark a story. There are questions to answer, a trail to follow. So I shall call it a success. Though I might still go in and see what I can do to make the red *better.* Used "Trail Blazer," "Trailer Blazer Textures" and "Val3d Arts Pose pack" on a the Fiery Genesis (G5) model. I still like the Wild Mane hair that comes with Daz, and the Secret haven set still looks quite good.
