Description
For a good Dwarven night out, neither an excuse nor long preparation is required. All it needs is a tavern with very sturdy furniture (alternatively useable the next morning to clean the taproom in form of sawdust), an ample supply of reasonably priced _ insert local alcoholic beverage (actually a lot of it) here _ and either a Dwarven or deaf innkeeper. And rats of course. No party without snacks. Also, it helps to have the windows fitted with a rather flexible putty, since they will at least bulge under the sheer pressure of ... ehmmmm... singing? the old songs, which inevitably will turn milk into chalk and free the whole building of other guests and termites alike (very sensitive insects, they are).

Very nice image for rendering lighting and composition, I really like the group of dwarves as you composed it for poses and expressions.
This is excellent...i almost can hear the song even if it shocks my prudish ears a bit !!! The rat may burn its nose !

Excellent grouping! These renders are very tricky to do because you need to make each member of the group an individual while still clearly belonging together. You accomplished this and then some. Very amusing scenario, and great work with the dwarfs.
Some of my favourite scenes in the the Hobbit movies are when all the dwarves show up to Bilbo's house. Even though these dudes are in a tavern, it reminds me so much of that. Fantastic composition, really natural poses and expression. I can hear them singing! :)

Since this is the second time the song comes up: I really love that piece with or without the film, but as long as there is no banging together of at least two pieces of metal and/or stones it is not Dvarven music (see it as an early form of hihi Heavy Metal).
