another image with that beautiful purple-sepia 'haze'. I love the corsair imagery (pirates!) Love the parrot, and the old fashioned pistol, and the woman's daring stare----she looks like she's saying, "Come closer: I DARE you!", and her headband and purple hair...and the ships in the background, with a hazy sun and fog. (That sky reminds me a little of Turner's sea paintings.)
Another great outfit---I love her blouse in a jaundiced yellow-gold, underneath her vest and dress. And the bird gives the only blue and green in the piece. (Well, the bride has green fingernails---so she's in harmony there). Terrific, sly, tongue-in-cheek piece. And again, your purple-sepia patina gives this the feeling of an old, old photo...Terrific work on this.
