Description
Since the social distancing edict, none of the Queen's servants are around. She finds herself in a state of boredom. No one to entertain her, no one to cater to her whims, no one to berate...It's tough being privileged...
Hope all continue to be well and using this difficult time to find some positive, interesting activities.

what's that famous Mel Brooks line? "It's good to be the king!" Well, not for this lady...(well, she's a queen, but still...) I love that you chose this woman to illustrate "ennui"---you got a great uppity expression! I mean, privileged ennui has a look, doesn't it? And I love that ruff and that wild collar. And that head-dress, or crown, or diadem, or whatever it is. "Not too shabby, your highness!" And you did it up in dark flesh-pinks and deep purples, and a beautiful brown for her dress/top. And a white chalked face (ala the age) with reddish pink rouge. Great character! I guess sheltering-in-place has to bring out these qualities. (We're all walkin' around muttering, "we are not amused...." Love it. Love your colors. They're like a beautiful pink-reddish-brown rouge...
(Btw, you ever wear a ruff? I did when I had friends in theater years back. ((They let me wear the costumes.)) They heat them with starch to keep the ruffles, you put it on, your head feels like it's in a brace, you can't look down, and you suddenly want to traipse around the room shouting, "behold, what ho!!!" I don't know how anyone survived in those clothes. No wonder those kings and queens had bad dispositions...)
She's a fabulous character. I love what she's wearing; its fancy and unique and cool. The color palate is wonderful and the muted color of the collar matches her cheeks and shows off her colorless hair and face well.

Oh, this is great.....the title is clever and the expression of privileged boredom on her face is so funny. It’s like the millionaires I see complaining about having to isolate is their private yachts and mansions. You hit it perfectly with this image.

She isn’t the only “leader” having these problems these days. If she had her own tv show she would have plenty of people to berate though. (A good visual expression of ennui, with all that low contrast color. )
