Wow what a awesome pin-up scene, super cool work dear Ute.
wow what a scene great
A very charming and cute little kitty sitting on the beautiful lady's lap! Marvelous and imaginative work. Love the raining people with umbrellas look through the window too! Great imagination and creativity, Ute! Many fine kudos!
Sensational work on the exhausted young lady plus her environs.
Fabulous work!
This is truly delightful, Ute! A wonderful dedication for Gary!
Whaaaaat on earth goes on in your head LOL. :P I love this one..
bravo superbe le petit chat est trognon et bien placé lol
I always have a rough day too when people are falling from the sky. I worry that one of them might land on me!
a nice pop image with throwaways to the 50s, it has a fun feel of a an ad poster from those days about it, nice one
Love it a lot.
The surrealists would love this!
Quel superbe concept et quelle merveilleuse creation... époustouflante creation et superbe concept also !!!
Oh my !!! It's raining people !!!! Love it, Ute !!! I especially like the retro radio and cooler, my friend !!! That takes me back a few years. And, I bet the cat is glad it's raining people instead of "cats and dogs," too !!!!!!
Since being stuck at home, I have been tied up with some home remodeling projects that had been put on the back burner. With all this free time at home, it was a good time to catch up. So, I haven't had much time to visit the gallery, lately. But, I intend to get back, soon.
Thank you so much for this wonderful dedication. I hope you and Rene are doing well. Take care and stay safe, Gary
Good one!
She's a stunner!
A kitty! Great portrait.
Excellent done again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bravo!!! fav!!!
Another of your fine 'retro' images---I love what you put in it: An old Pepsi-Cola cooler, that great 1950s radio, a woman who looks like she's in a 1950s Marlon Brando film, and the feeling of a hot day before there was air conditioning. She looks like a character from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof...Terrific posture, you used black and red really well on her---red jacket, black bikini w/ black hair and black gloves. Even the cat has strong blacks. And she wears black and white shoes. Fine color coordination! (And you have reds in the chair and pillow, and in the drapes. Really well coordinated.)
The background is a wild array of people floating to the earth, with umbrellas---more of your avant garde sensibility. They're in deep shadow, but they dominate the image. It's as if she's dreaming those people, in fact. The window mullions are a sharp bright white---great choice, as contrast to the most 'sultry' colors back there. I love the feel of this image: It's a scene from a Tennessee Williams play (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was by Tennessee Williams), or an early Marlon Brando biker's film. It drips with heat, and it feels like 1955, where that radio should be playing bebop, and the only 'cooling' is a fan. Love it.
Very beautiful and very nice 😊
