I love your story, and the dragon looks like a kind, loving pet...and the bubble balls---they're these mystical lanterns that come in all sizes...and your background---a kind of ancient temple mixed with some steampunk motifs, and bank vault forms (!!)---is a really full mix of forms. And it picks up the ball motif in its 3 large circular protrusions. The woman has a great blue-tinted pink in her---in her hair, around her eyes, on her lips, on her bracelet---and she looks very much at peace, as does her lap-dragon. A enchanting image, and you definitely relate to colors for their inner expressive qualities---you get pinks and other hues that are powerful and quite expressive.
