After decades I took back a pencil to do this.
Simple pencil portrait on a sheet of photocopies paper.
It's a minor thing... but it's important to me.

This guy has a lot of personality, and the subtleties of the expression look like they were captured very well. It looks like he is looking at something that he really loves.
The shading could be quite a bit darker though. That is probably my main concern.
You guessed it, he has a very strong personality. I made this portrait using a pic on my cellphone, it wasn't that easy even considering it was at least thirty years that I didn't pick up a pencil. I will keep in mind your suggestion for my next attempts. Thank you for commenting so kindly.
