This is how I came to have Jane’s Diary -
Jane lived for a long while with the Cloud Garden People - learning their ways, and going native. She finally decided to stay there and just Be one of them, the rest of her life. So she came back here, just briefly, to tell us that, and to say Goodbye.
The Desolation Plains are a great scar on our world, an evidence of a time when our World almost ended. Funny how the Way - a transdimensional Gateway - to a Beauty, unspeakable - opens out here - in the midst of a ruined land so full of the story of that terrible time.
I captured this image of Jane right before she passed through it. It was a bittersweet moment for us both.
I'll miss her. But she left me her Cloud Garden Diaries. They are beautiful, those memories of her strange and amazing Cloud Garden Home. She said I could share them with you if you were interested . . .

l'impression de désolation est très bien rendue, excellent travail
building wisdom on the ashes of a civilization...you convey a past civilization with the abandoned, rusted space ship (or helicopter, or some kind of vehicle). And the vista is desert-like, with a beautiful coppery undertone (which glows). While desolate, it seems to hold secrets inside it---the glow suggests that. And Jane has that same glow, as if to say, after living here long enough she took on the glow of the very sands she walked on. You've attired her simply, compared to the shamans I've seen so far in your gallery, which suggests she has no desire to do any more to her appearance, as her journey is very inward. Beautiful pinks in her face and on her head-dress. All against a deep green sky....Mysterious and inviting, or, to turn it around, it's inviting but mysterious. She doesn't seem to be inviting us in so much as simply saying this is where she walks, and if we want to enter, we have to find our own way. And whatever she's saying, it evokes your words beautifully.
I like the way you are linking your images to tell a story. Will we ever hear from Jane again I wonder ? Lovely art!
