Description

I'm taking Howie Farkes' new UltraScenery out for a spin. It is very resource-intensive and one has to really manage the pressure on system's memory and graphics, but I love the beautiful, realistic landscape scenes one can create in Daz with relative ease. Wonderful!

I know Howie Farkes‘ scenes from Carrara where he made quite a few. So when I saw he’s making scenes for DS, I had to get them, because carrara doesn‘t support Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 properly and Howies scenes are so amazing and a perfect environment for Daz figures. How ever I realized pretty fast, that my rig is too old and too weak for bigger scenes from Howie (especially with a G3 or G8 character in it).

My rig is pretty modest actually .... (GS65 MSI gaming laptop - i7-8750H CPU, 2.2GHz - only 16 GB RAM - GeForce GTX 1070 - Max-Q card). That render was basically ready after about 15 minutes. The trick is to manage the overload. Good luck my friend.
