Description
One of the best reasons to bookmark sites like Renderosity (And Runtime DNA) is the amount of inspiration that seeing the works of hundreds of artists and modelers can give.
Recently, I began a work in progress (see gallery) and had the bad luck of having the file crash while saving. This was very frusrating, having worked for hours just to get to that point.
I was feeling down when I looked through the gallery and saw the Barge by Transpond. The result is yet another work in progress. (But much closer than the last to being through.) I am really only unhappy with the rock in the foreground, but I hope to get suggestions on improving this piece.
So all of this was to say thanks to all of the artists who inspire all of us.

Gorgeous work and perfect in all details ! Amazing and great work ! Wow !
I really like the scene detail and how you've driven the image as a complete concept. This is so different from the typical scenes in this gallery and is a real breath of fresh air. Very nice work!
The render is great. I see what you mean about the rock. Is there a way to apply a more detailed texture to the rock in the forground and not affect the rest? If it wasn't in the foreground then it would not be a problem.
Awesome image! Love the subject and execution!
Wow, this is way cool ... excellent render. There are some very nice free rock textures at RDNA that are fairly high resolution and I've used them up close, they may work better for you. Great work!
Fantastic idea...great rendering...totally fascinating...
Bloody Brilliant!!!! ...!!! love it all!!!! excellent!!! :)
Wonderful work!
Awesome image ! Wow !
Excellent and imaginative image, beautifully composed and rendered. I agree that all you need is a higher resolution texture for the foreground rock to stop the pixilation.
