Description
Tilly had always wanted a dog of her own. Her family had a mutt of some kind since she could remember and each of them had been special. Since leaving her parents home and starting on her own, she missed that feeling of companionship and unconditional love that the dogs gave her. Today she was at the shelter and slowly meandering down the rows of pens holding every type, age and size of dog. Suddenly she locked eyes with a half grown pup and it was love at first sight. She filled out all the papers and paid the fees that would allow her to take Karl home. It was a match made in Heaven.

teri, I'll comment on everything I've missed here in 2 sessions, as there are a little to many for one...I've been away a lot, so I'm only now catching up...
I know a number of people who've had rescues for years, and I know their feeling when they find just the right pet...and you captured that here. This is delightful, and it's a very bright image too---lots of light---which you contrast with all the shadow on tilly and her outfit. And her posture shows her wanting to lean over and squeeze her new found companion. The dog is also just as a dog would look who wants to be taken by a human. Very real, with lots of light. I'm sure they'll be very happy together...
