Again, Ute, I'm skipping only so I can comment on a good range of your work. Your "Asia Girls," before this, was beautiful, with some very traditional Japanese and Chinese elements...
This has a very different urban feeling than your 'apocalyptic' scenes...this captures the darker, mysterious side of city life. I love the blues here, and the light in the background (there's a great light on top of a high rise)...the light tells us there's life here, even though the scene is inundated in rain. Your greenish yellows (from the windows) add a sense of mystery too. Your model is lit beautifully---more of your theatrical lighting---as she protects herself from the rain. And the rain looks like rain, yet it doesn't interfere with the image (or obliterate it). Well done, Ute. Beautiful light on the cat too.
