when I looked back through your older work, some months ago, I found some images that showed a real avant-garde sense, like photography done for clients who want to get very imaginative designs. You have a real feel for that, a feel that runs deep. This is another example. I luuuuv this! I love the mermaid holding herself, almost in a dance or acting pose. And the splatter of water is wonderfully sensual (and it also looks like electrical current.) Her popping tail is wonderful too, like an afterthought or like it wanted to be photographed too, so it stuck itself out at the last minute to be sure you included it. And where's all this rapturous stuff taking place? In a cup! With droplets all over, and a bit of a bottle---in pure white (w/ gray cap---minimalist), and a sprig of some flowers to the side. I think the choice of golden brown tones as background are fine contrast...The overall is of a very inventive designer at work, creating a single gesture that packs a visual punch. I love this! 22000000 stars.
