We still have a few places like this in Tennessee, where the hogs live about as well as the people, although this is by no means a representation of the entire state. We're not all like the Beverly Hillbillies...LOL I especially love the baby pigs, as my grandfather used to raise animals on his farm, and the pigs, chickens, and goats were my favorite toys when I visited. For a while they had an outdoor "facility", too, so I included that for nostalgia sake....:O) My grandfather wore overalls (even to church), although he had a "Sunday" pair, sometimes added a jacket, and changed his blue shirt for a white one. So I guess this is Sunday morning on the pig farm. Oh, their house didn't even have locks on the doors or windows, and I had to walk almost a mile to a neighbors to get the mail. There was a particularly nasty old sow that I had to watch out for. I had to cut through her field every time I went after the mail, so I had deep, deep respect. Their bite is stronger than a German Shepherd's, and they are more intelligent. They are also very testy when they have a litter of piglets, too
