Description
Hi.
My accident was worse than was thought...nothing was broken, but I pulled muscles and tendons and have more pain than was originally expected. I've had to do a lot less than I'd wanted. At 70, a fall becomes a formidable thing.
I've seen everything you've posted...I've not missed a post. Over the next few weeks, I'll leave comments on some of them. I won't be able to do full catch-ups yet---something I love to do (I don't do them out of obligation). But I'll get to all of you.
As for dedis: I plan to post some, but they'll be smaller than usual. But I'll get some up in the coming days and weeks.
For the holiday, I did this little rework of an old painting...a fantasy holiday-window with frost. I hope you're all getting love and blessing this time of year. Though that wish should hold all year, the descending cold, longer nights and silvery, almost brassy skies signal a kind of magic with the hope that warmth-of-heart will become the more precious...So a wonderful, precious season to you all, and I hope 2020 brings a lot of light to everyone...peace, mark

Mark, first of all let me comment on this work of art you reworked and say how remarkable it is. The colors are both cool and expressive, and the longer you gaze into it the more that literally comes to life. Now let me say how sorry I am to hear about what your going through. Although it is great nothing was broken, a lot of times the pain in damaging muscles and tendons can often times be almost unbearable. As always your kind heart stands out as you still take time to comment on the art of your friends. Sorry your going through this right now, and I'll be sure and keep you in my daily prayers.

I'm sorry you're hurting and I hope things improve quickly.
This frosty window is absolutely spectacular! The colors are stunning and vivid. The shapes resemble a stormy sea with crashing waves and violent-looking skies but the colors are so beautiful that the mood is calm and awe-inspiring instead of frightening. It's the contrast of shapes, mood and color that makes this so appealing to me. It's a beautiful winter storm framed by a perfect window.
Happy Holidays, my dear friend, be safe, warm and of improved health.

Man, I love what you've done with this frosty window, Mark! So colorful - and it adds a much needed glow of color and warmth in these cold and dark days.
Yeah, us 70+ kids seem to break a lot easier than we used to... And it takes longer to re-constitute ourselves, too. What the heck ever happened to the 6 million dollar man? I guess it helps if you have 6 million $$ hanging around! LOL But then I'd probably spend it on 3D stuff..
Hope you have an awesome Christmas, and an epic 2020, buddy! Now, go grab that jar of Icy-Hot... LOL

Blues are my favorite Mark. Hope you got some good meds for them pills my friend. Some good news that nothing was broken. Your accident sure has not harmed your tremendous images. Love how it looks the same but in a six panel looking presentation. Take care and take care some more Mark. Have a very Merry Christmas with family. And a safe and healthy 2020.

I echo all of the comments above in re your stellar frosted window posting. I assume you experience that chilly condition up close and personal often peering through your Chicago windows. As for your unfortunate fall and its consequences, I'm most disconcerted reading that. I can easily identify with your pain. When you join the 70+ plus club injuries take virtual eons to heal. But, fortunately, be thankful you didn't fall on your head, an event that still plagues me. I've already had 6 or 7 CT scans following that disaster. One result shows that half of my brain has shrunk due to age. Get well, my friend.
