Just for giggles, here's the full photo of the bridge I used as a background in the Hunter poster.. The original is about 6000 pixels at 4800 DPI - as scanned from 35mm film. Just thought you might like to see the original... 😉

Though not essential, it is useful for time travelers to use an artifact which exists now and at the point in time which they hope to reach. It makes the transferal more reliable. Though, an abandoned railway bridge is a little risky given its former use.
Looks like heavy maintenance is needed here. Cool POV capture Rod.

I"m skipping, Rod, but I'll get to the previous piece soon, as well as the piece after (I only have a few more to go, to catch up)...but I wanted to comment on this since it's always a treat when you post photos. I love the bleached light here, and the feel of abandonment...it looks like it had a purpose (maybe still does), but like it's rarely traversed anymore. That's how the light makes it feel. And the intense geometry is offset by that flat sky and that flat landscape. Has real mood, airiness, emptiness, and bright bleached light. Plus the 'tunnel' here seems to lead to nothing: The end of this path looks like it's grasses and trees. A real bleached-day empty feeling...lazy...abandoned...peaceful. I really like this photo!
