_______ From the same part of the countryside in this marshy and woody area known as the 'Mille-Étangs' (the One-Thousand Ponds area),at the feet of the Vosges mountains, the photo I am presenting here refers to the origin of the numerous pounds and lakes visible to the hiker visiting the area...It was actually eroded by the last glaciers of the Quaternary and when Man settled up there, the extraction of peat eventually led to the formation of the dozens of pounds and small lakes that give the area its special marshy characteristic nowadays.

Où l'on voit comment la lumière du soir peut transformer quelques nénuphars en joyaux ! Un cadrage comme celui d'une peinture chinoise avec juste le reflet de la rive pour une atmosphère très zen ! Une magnifique photo ! Bravo !
