I once had some prescription lenses that had yellowed in the sun tinted rose as a query about a phrase, rose colored glasses This was in 1975 before the country song. The house I grew up in had rambler yellow roses on front porch trellises. If you saw the color in your tea then maybe those roses set your standard.
