Description
This image is from a tutorial by RenderRides , this is the first time I have used Blender 2.8, also my first time using volumetrics, the authors final render was 512 samples, the best my computer could do was 200 samples. Any comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Great mood. The horizon looks a bit odd though as it seems there are 2 bright focuses. Also clouds could give the view more "spirit".
Very nice
Really nice, the grass turned out pretty good, also the lighting is really good as well.
Great scene. Well done.
Very beautful lighting & mood and the grass looks amazing!
And yes, a few more samples would be nice .. (and perhaps a bit translucency on the tree-leaves on the right side?).
Don't know, if you already knew that, but .. just a few hints for faster volumetric-rendering in b/cycles:
--- do not use "world-wide" volume scatter (in world-panel) unless you have a good reason to do that. Better build a cube or sphere around your scene and give it a scatter-volume. Activate "homogenous" in it's settings (materials-panel); in most cases is this sufficient for simple "atmospheric" volumetrics.
--- if you only want atmospheric lightbeams (godrays), set the volumetric-bounces (in render-panel) to zero (0) and increase this only to 1, if you want a bit smoother scattering. Every bounce increases cycles render-time approx by half.
--- try to avoid (too many) tansparent-layers .. if possible.
