Superbe scène ! Bravo, Ute !
most excellent work.
It is very nice!
great work!
Scary scene.
this is doused in deep yellows, reds and golds, and it's sunken in deep dark shadows. The contrast of the golds with the dark shadows is stunning. (Chiaroscuro. See Caravaggio, from the Renaissance.) The woman appears to be holding some kind of flower...but then, it also looks like an organ, maybe a heart or liver. And then, maybe it's a fruit. Whatever it is, it is scary; and her face is covered in blood---a vampire, maybe? Plus her dress is "scalloped," like a bat's wings.
Then you have the golden serpent,,, and that blasting moon outside (or sun maybe?). It's a dark spooky image, filled with rich yellows and golds, and it captures the midnight hour perfectly. (I also see a mouse or rat in the background.) A fine end to the season. You posted many fine Halloween images this fall, Ute.
