Reminds me a little of James Whale's film, "Old Dark House"---as if that lady's about to take him inside, and show him some of the creepiest, deliciously dark characters in town. Wonderful dark shadows and creepy awning, and decay along the wall. And the woman's dragon-like staff, along with her deep blue gown, make it all the more mysterious. Fun and very well done.
