She came home from a sucessful hunt. She had found the bandit and handed him over to the sherrifs.
But arriving home there is no rest, no bath to dust off all sorrows and dirt.
Someone has been here or still is here and left an open warning. The ax was stuck deep in the wood of her front door.
She had to be careful now.
