Very effective, Ute. I love Winnie's posture---she's riding, but she's looking to the side as if to call for help. She definitely looks scared. And you have those big birds on top---geese, maybe? They don't seem threatening, but they DO seem to have some message, some secret. Maybe they're fleeing some terrible occurrence, many KM to the left of the image. (And Winnie is riding right into it!) The lighthouse, pier and open water give the image the feeling of forlorn distance, of an outpost in the far reaches of the wilderness. A haunting image, with beautiful blues and whites and grays. Winnie gives your image the feeling of fear. We hope she's rescued...very well done.
